A fun evening that begins with period libations in the historic hearth kitchen and continues with a tour of the Crane House & Historic YWCA. See the period holiday decorations artfully designed by the Garden Club of Montclair (a ranking in USA Today's 2020 10Best Reader's Choice Travel Award for the "Best Holiday Home Tour!") as Executive Director Angelica Diggs leads special candlelight tours that tell the history of our holidays past from the 1700s to the 20th century. Recommended for visitors ages 10 and up due to Santa Spoilers!
Tours start at 6:30. Maximum of 15 guests per group. $20/person. Buy your tickets here! Ticket sales close Thursday, December 8th at 3pm. No refunds.
Refreshments will be available. Montclair History Center will adhere to CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19.
Can’t make it but still want to see the decorations? Stop by any Sunday in December from 12pm-3pm (starting Sunday, December 4th) for drop-in tours or schedule a private tour.
We are so excited to announce that we will be collecting nonperishables and other goods to distribute to local pantries in and around our community. You can drop off your items at the Nathaniel Crane House Museum Shop during our weekend self-guided tours. Click here to see what each organization needs this holiday season.
