Discover Montclair's African-American History
The historical trolley tour will feature fascinating African American history on a captivating and informative tour led by the Montclair African American Heritage Foundation Subcommittee on History Chair and members.
Participants will learn about inspiring leaders like Sweet Daddy Grace, the pioneering filmmakers Oscar Micheaux, and Alice Burton Russell Micheaux, and influential
institutions such as the YWCA and YMCA, local business leaders, and community organizations that have shaped this proud heritage.
There will be two tours (10 am and 12 noon). Tickets are $40 each for a maximum of 55 passengers per tour. Student tickets are $20 (With School I.D.). Purchase tickets through the MAAHF here.
