For the first time, the Crane House & Historic YWCA will be offering audio tours! Explore the house at your leisure while discovering the stories behind the men and women who lived, worked, and played in the house throughout it's 225 years.
Special exhibit: Treasures of the Shultz House. Charles Shultz was a banker by day and amateur scientist by night. He traversed the world in the early 1900s, gathering and buying souvenirs throughout his travels. Discover his treasures from China, Mexico, Belgium, and Japan!
Drop by anytime between 10am and 3pm to tour the house. No pre-registration required.
General Admission: $12/adult; $10/senior/student; $8/children under 18; children under 2 are free. MHC members are free! All tours begin at the Nathaniel Crane House (the red house behind the Crane House & Historic YWCA).
September 18th is also Smithsonian Museum Day, an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket to their institution.
