This live Zoom presentation will feature a slide show of the Historic Upper Montclair Business District chronicling the development of the area from a rural settlement in the 1880s to a burgeoning suburban town in the 1930s. Historical facts, some architectural notes, neighborhood lore, and plenty of “then and now” comparison photos are incorporated. Developed by Helen Fallon, Board of Trustee of the Montclair History Center, and Lisanne Renner, Historian of Friends of Anderson Park, this program will be presented by Helen Fallon.
