A three-part virtual program on social justice.
Join us as we unpack the documentary 13th together. The movie explores the roots of mass incarceration, race, and social justice. Each week, co-hosts Lillie Edwards, PhD, and Leslie Wilson, PhD, will introduce a section of the documentary 13th. We will watch it together and then they will and guide participants in an open, honest discussion. This program will take place every other Tuesday in March:
Part 1: Tuesday, March 1st, 7:00pm-8:30pm
Part 2: Tuesday, March 15th, 7:00pm-8:30pm
Part 3: Tuesday, March 29th, 7:00pm-8:30pm
Tickets are free but reservations are required. Sign up here. Zoom links will be sent out to all participants prior to the first session.
This program qualifies for social studies professional development credit.
